For Tequila Lovers

I was fortunate to have the "puro" thing explained to me by a tequila fan a while back, and since then tequila has become my favorite alcohol by far. Zero headaches or stomachaches, and I'm no young thing with an iron gut.

The best quality per dollar in a puro that I've tried so far is Leyenda del Milagro:

+100...Tequila is a noble drink IF you know how to drink it. IMHO it should be straight and sipping, lemon and salt is fine and can be consider it as a proper way to drink tequila.

Margaritas, gatoritas etc it's just a fancy name to mix cheap alcohol in order to get drunk.

Well pardon me Squilliam Fancyson if us common folk enjoy an occasional mixed drink. :).
I for one actually enjoy the taste of a good margarita on the rocks, especially with my favorite Mexican food!

Nothing wrong with a margarita, I prefer frozen myself. But Im not going to use my Tres Generaciones reposado to make them.

I also prefer tequila with no lime or salt, especially salt

A few great tequilas that don't cost over $100 a bottle are. I prefer reposado and anejo, but all of these are made in silver as well.

Tres Generaciones,
Tequila Corazon
Don Julio
Herradura

Please feel free to add to this list.

I'm not as much into Tequila as I am barley-derived adult beverages, but the house tequila at my place is Herradura Silver. Good stuff, and my taste buds aren't educated enough to tell the difference between that and the more expensive brands.
