Damien Lewis. I first saw him as the leadman in Band of Brothers. Then Brody in Homeland. When I saw him in a Brit period production I though he was great for being able to pull out such a natural pom. Surprise!

The sons of anarchy guy...I kept wondering "who talks like that?" Then I saw he was Australian..

Charlie Hunnam? he's a Brit... also made his TV debut over here playing a gay teenager from Manchester - I had a bit of a "what the hell" moment when i first saw him in SOA

Kenneth Branagh's American accent is basically the worst ever IMO.

The worst southern accent attempt I've ever seen was the kid on Forrest Gump's school bus who told him "you can't sit here" in a near perfect down east yankee drawl where here becomes he-ya. Definitely NOT from Greenbow Alabama.

I just saw San Andreas ... there are some dodgy stage school British accents going on there! well, two of them.

Sean Connery has one accent and it's called Sean Connery. I was just thinking about him in The Untouchables movie trying to do an Irish-American accent and it still sounded like Sean Connery.

Here is another reverse actress.

Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead was born in either Cherry Hill, NJ or Philadelphia, PA (not sure) and moved to the U.K. at the age of 13. Her normal accent is a combination of American and British.

In Grey's Anatomy (don't blame me - my wife likes it) the chief of surgery, Owen Hunt who is played by Kevin McKidd, is actually from Scotland. You can hear his real voice in Trainspotting. He does a very credible American accent I think.
