I would like to ask the value of an amp & cab and then list it in classified. Where do I do that and do I have to pay and if so where?

I phone the music store or vintage dealer and ask them what the model goes for these days. I use that as a guideline. I've been told to ask for $XXX and don't take less than $ZZZ.

Another trick is to search for similar items in closed auctions on ebay and reverb to see what they have been going for recently and in what condition. If it's anything at all common, this should give good background info.
