Why wouldn’t the largest bass department in the world join forces with the largest online bass forum?

If you have any questions about the Berklee College of Music Bass Department, feel free to post here. We have some of the best and most diverse faculty in the world and the ones listed here have kindly agreed to share some of their time and wisdom with you.

If you are directing your inquiry to a specific faculty member, please include their name in the Subject. Remember, when it comes to Bass, there are many right answers. We are here to help, and different faculty may have different solutions. “One size fits all” applies once in a while, but not too often.

We will answer as time permits as we also must serve up over 400 bass lessons and labs weekly here at 1140 Boylston Street in Boston.

Whether it is about technique, curriculum, or any other Berklee related subject, we will do our best to answer you directly or forward your question to someone who can.

First of all, I have to thank the entire bass department of the Berklee College of Music for taking the time to hang out with us on TalkBass. All of these guys are extremely busy. We are all very grateful! And a special thanks to Steve Bailey for proposing this awesome idea and signing up his entire department :)

All the core TB rules apply here - please treat our resident pros with the highest level of courtesy and respect. Also please take some time to put thought into your questions (let's keep the "What's the best bass for me?" threads in the general forums ;) )

    Cheers!

    This is fantastic!

Shout out to my man DMo. Using the stuff I learning from his R&B class every day! Wish there was a part 2!

Finishing my final assignment this weekend for the R&B Bass class. If there was a part 2, I'd sign up in a second. Lucky for me, I live an hour from D-Mo and take private lessons too. He's the man!

Welcome Berklee Bass Department! What took you so long? :hyper:
