Found a discontinued bass uke.

After going through about 65 bass ukes/mini bass guitars since mid 2014 when I started playing bass for my uke group when I was 64, I settled on one model that is most comfortable for me with the nerve damage I have in my neck and shoulders from radiation for lymph cancer many years ago. It's the RondoMusic Hadean UKB-23SB violin/Hofner style Chinese knockoff, but it was discontinued a few months ago. I've been scouring AliExpress and Alibaba, to no avail, but after being prompted by @OldManNewBass on another thread, I looked for a used one and immediately found it at Guitar Center in Orange, NJ. I grabbed it, and now have to decide what color to make it.

I have them modified by Eric's Guitar Shop in Van Nuys, CA, and painted my Pat Wilkins Guitar near there. Eric replaces the floating wood bridge and wonky piezo pickup with a fully adjustable high mass metal bridge, and mini humbucker neck pickup. One thought I had months ago was to make it look like a Rickenbacker, but put that aside as being a little too hokey. OldManNewBass suggested Daphne blue with tort pickguard, which I'm considering. I also thought about metallic purple, which I had done for one of the mini basses a few years ago.

Why not a tribute to the original Fender Precision? Black guard over that lovely deep golden blonde.
That's basically what I did with the Olympic white and tortoise.
i'd put some sparkle into that fabulous collection --- i vote for metallic (or sparkly) purple. all your axes look great! it'll be another looker no matter what you do. 👍
Thanks very much @JRA. After posting above, I decided exactly that, metallic purple (not so easy to see in this mockup), and no pickguard.

Nope. On this purple bass change all the chrome fittings to gold and make it a Tigerbass. LSU! LSU!
The blue and gold one was going to be purple and gold, ready use at Mardi Gras time, but I liked the blue and gold better. I think the metallic purple with chrome and white will stand on its own very well.
