Body, unfinished mahogany with a very thin veneer flame maple top.
Sandberg bridge.
Gotoh tuners on chinese neck with rosewood unlined fretless board.
Audere Jazz preamp disassembled and parts installed through body.
Rod Evan's Jazz at the bridge and Antiquity at neck.
The range of sounds with roundwounds on this instrument is over the top. Mwahhhh.

That cover was a bitch. Hand tools, no router template for that custom cutout.

I think I would have found a piece of mahogany for it.
I also think I would have been hard pressed to do any better.
No one sees the back cover unless they want, you can relax.

Yeah it's something that bugs and will be replaced with black plastic eventually; or I buy a router and learn to template.
