Free 16-track audio-software (w/ VST, ASIO etc.)

    I tried it out. Seems to be more aimed at looping and sampling than recording and mixing. The price is right, though.

    Not bad, especially for the price :D I like the free effects, my trial version of Sonic Foundry Acid doesn't have that... Still wish I had Pro Tools though

    I've been using Krystal for about a month now to record jams. I'm very impressed so far.

    Krystal has a feel that I like with faders and knobs, and it's very intuitive to use. I like the mixer feature and it has a few built in effects. Krystal does not support all VST plug-ins but I'm giving "Track-Plug" a try and it works well so far.

    Best of all Krystal is free. It sounds a new version will be released commercially (or perhaps open source) in the near future.
