I tried it out. Seems to be more aimed at looping and sampling than recording and mixing. The price is right, though.
Not bad, especially for the price I like the free effects, my trial version of Sonic Foundry Acid doesn't have that... Still wish I had Pro Tools though
I've been using Krystal for about a month now to record jams. I'm very impressed so far.
Krystal has a feel that I like with faders and knobs, and it's very intuitive to use. I like the mixer feature and it has a few built in effects. Krystal does not support all VST plug-ins but I'm giving "Track-Plug" a try and it works well so far.
Best of all Krystal is free. It sounds a new version will be released commercially (or perhaps open source) in the near future.
From what I have read it does support VST
So any sound cards will work with this??
Also try Computer Muzys free with any copy of Computer Music Magazine. ASIO, VST etc. Comes with free soft synths and effects.
