I'm a little on the fence with this one but here goes...

This is my first bass. I have owned it since around 2003. This is a great bass; it survived the heat of an aluminum building over a summer when I had west nile virus (lead singer put it in storage to protect it) while a US Fender did not do so well. The bass has scratches, dings, and wear. Neck is uber stable. It could use some new pots/jack etc. I'm a little on the fence with this one...

However; it sits in the corner unplayed. I don't play bass much at all these days and there is a part of me that thinks there is a kid somewhere out there that needs to play (much like I did). So I am considering parting with my black beauty for the right kid to start their music journey. If you know someone who deserves this, pm me and lets talk.

The bass is a Peavey Millennium BXP (passive version).

I can upload pics tonight.

very kind of you MAD PLAYA. I'm volunteering for a kids' music clinic on 1/18/14; there may be a bassist among them.

BUMP for a great guy and a great thing to do. Last year I was a part of a bass that was given to a special kid. I no longer teach at that school, but I know Tyrek is still enjoying his bass! Props to recreating that special gift for someone else!
