I'd honestly buy one if you did them in a P-bass split humbucker. From the sound of it this is like a soapbar humbucker thing, like an EMG or something.

I do make a split P, thats what Christw was sampling.
The pups I make are side-by-side humbuckers, in-line humbuckers (split coils) J's, split coil P's and single coils.

Yeah, I'm in love with the P. To be specific, I'm using the short version of the p that's more of a universal fit than the tall one. My stock Fender routes were too shallow for the 7/8" one but I'll be dropping it in my project bass when I have time to redneck route it with a chisel and hammer. 
PS- John, I apologize for the amount of time the j review is taking me to get to. I just need a day to sit down, replace the old crappy wiring in it and bang out clips on the B4 like I did with the p.

I haven't forgotten! It has been temporarily put on hold because the basses neck is being refinished. They WILL be done ASAP!

I have re assembled my bass now and have taken a few sound clips (all tuned down half a step). Will find some way of posting them but have done quick demos of:

The Jworrell PU is twinned with a Seymour duncan Quater pounder P pickup in an Aria STB PJ bass with A'Daddrio Prosteels (+ a string I can't remember the brand of on the G) tuned half a step down.
The song is King nothing by metallica.
