I just picked up some of those gruv gear fret wraps....man what an improvement on the old hair tie alternative. Am I late to the party or are these still relatively unknown by alot of us?

Will do! Last night at rehersal, my guitarist says "what the heck is that?" Poor guy is still trying to comprehend the fanned frets on my Dingwall bass, now I throw this at him......ha!ha! Guitar players are so much fun to mess with.

Good news/bad news is that one for the dogs chewed up my "funk scrunchy" last time I put fresh cat guts on. While black is beautiful, I'll be missing my "funk flag" motif as I just ordered a set from Jay.

Odd, but the African colors remind me to keep my "whiteness" at bay and honor Mother Music from my colorblind soul. If that sounds racist, y'all can kiss my white.....

IMO 22$ man that is way expensive for that product

That's an easy one for me,...just don't buy one. It's the same with basses,...some people think some basses cost too much. I just simply say don't buy that bass. It doesn't even need to be discussed. No one will try to convince you to buy one.

I used a cheap $3-5 wrist band I found at a Florida flea market. Frankly, while I dug the colors it was a PITA to use right, keep tension, etc.

Cheapo solution, "borrow" one from a girl friend.

$22 gets you a pack of them, so pool your scratch with some other players. $7 a piece BLOWS AWAY the barely functional $4 Florida flea wirst band. From that perspective, its a BARGAIN!
