Fretboard replacement

$300 is cheap for that!

Yes it certainly is. Any fretboard replacement - done right - will require fixing the finish on the neck, or at least extending it to the fretboard edges. If the neck is oiled then that's easy, but if its nitro or poly (which is what I would expect from Ibanez) then you're almost looking at a total neck refinish. Way more hours in the refin than the board replacement.
