Fretboard Side Dot Markers are hard to see

FWIW, I need a li'l help with this sometimes, as well. I don't have the skills to install Luminlays myself, but I
did send my Lull neck back to Lull and had them installed professionally. They did a great job and I was happy, for that particular bass. However, looking for a less "spendy" option for the rest of my gaggle, I tried a few
of the sticker options detailed in other/similar threads here on TB. I settled on the ones offered by "Fret Glo"

They also sell on ebay and etsy, and I liked that they offer many different size and color options. (I have no affiliation, etc). My preference is their "White (No Glow) ⋅ Small Circle Markers". They also come in black
"Matte Black ⋅ Small Circle Markers" (which were great for me on a recently-purchased Fender Roasted neck).

I find them to stick well, and are pretty much unobtrusive in feel - your mileage may vary, depending on your technique. I also don't really need markers to glow in particular; just something I can grab a quick peek at
when necessary. I don't have any images of the black ones handy, but in case it is helpful, here's a few shots of the small white ones:

Glow on paint with a dab of clear fingernail polish on top. Works like a charm

Check the tb thread i linked too, you can see the product in action. It’s like a coin sized battery pack that sticks on the headstock with a super small and skinny silicone strip that goes on the fingerboard edge with LEDs in it. It gives you LED side markers without the need to drill and pull off the fingerboard, etc.

Quick question for Fretfx owners

I'd love to buy these, and I've emailed the site a couple of times now and had no reply.
The website hasn't been changed in a long time (that's how long I've been waiting for them to start taking orders), does anybody know if they are still trading?

At most 'big' box' hardware stores, you will find for sale adhesive side markers for tag-a-long trailers. They use strong adhesive and are 1/2 reflective silver and the other half is reflective red. Obtain a hole punch of suitable size and punch out as many markers as you need. I use larger ones on my fretboard because people tell me the silver ones reflect the colors of whichever spotlight is on. I have never had one fall or rub off, neither do they interfere with fretting or intonation. I use a leather punch to create small dots for side markers. Again they don't rub or fall off, even if they did replacement is very quick and removal leaves no mark or residue. If you tend to wrap your thumb around side of neck, this may not work for you.
