Fretless G&L

This is my fretless, and it is unbelievable...D'Addario Nickel Flats that last forever...lots of boom and punch, but still plenty of brightness, lacking in most flats.

So much mwah, that it inspires you to sit and play for hours...

Jeez Mick, that is one sweet lookin' 5K! Don't think I've ever seen a 5K toothless in any color.

My undentured L5000 is the only one I have seen, too...you don't see many of these around at all, and I get excited when I do...

You've seen another, Jim ? What color was it ?

The clear red freaks my camera out, and it doesn't show near the level of actual grain showing through the finish. Haven't seen too many cameras do clear red any justice.

Funny thing is that I saw it pop up on the bay, and hit the Buy It Now immediately, and found that Brad had hit it just three seconds before me !!

Funny, but I contacted him, and traded my matching toothed 5K for it...in fact, we worked it out with the seller to send it to me, and I sent mine to Brad...he wasn't really into fretless at the time...he had mine for a while, but he soon found the five string wasn't for him, either, and I got it back, too !!

Brad is one of my fav G&Lers, for certain.

I have a 93 L-2000 fretted and I love it. But I am in the market for a fretless 5 string and would love to try a L-2500 out. I have a fretless 4 string Warwick that I really do like, but I'm not paying for another Wick. Wonder if I could find a used fretless L-2500. Probably not so easy to find huh?
