Well I'm not actually posting it for sale. If someone was really interested I would talk. I've been a supporting member for the past 13 years I just have not renewed yet as I'm not really looking to sell anything at the moment.

Thanks; I only have a pic of the headstock here at work. It´s my main bass. Lovely to play. Hangs very nice. The neck is bolt on with a slight backward tilt; maybe you can see that looking closely in the other pic. (You see how the strings rise over the body to the top of the bridge/stool, the neck follows that line from the body) Anyway; the neck tilt keeps the bass and neck nice and close to you when you play it. It uses normal long scale strings, so the total length is more like a long scale bass. But its very light; 2,9 kgs, and quite resonant unplugged (nice for late night workouts)

After playing a 35" fretless six string and upright bass for the last 19 years I just received a SX fretless short scale jazz.......unbelievable! And for $115?! Makes for a great bass to play and to mod!
Finally got a friend to defret my Gretsch 2202 Jr Jet. Haven't gigged with it yet as I'm mostly playing upright these days. I want to black out the side dots if I can. Recommendations for any other mods?
I used a black Sharpie to black out the side dots which are in the wrong spots for fretless - worked just fine. Going to swap out the tuners with Res-o-Lite GB350s.
Wow! I was thinking about de-fretting one of those, although I ended up doing an Ibanez Talman TMB 30.
