Fretless Warwick Corvette NBD GC Score!

Found this mint condition German made fretless Warwick Corvette on Guitar Center online. They had mistakenly listed as a Rockbass for 650$, I couldn’t believe it! And delivered a state away, next day for 25$. I never get this lucky!!!

I've had one since 1999. It's a '97. What year is yours? It's the last 2 numbers on the back of headstock.

It’s an 07, so it has an ovangkol neck. I should’ve also mentioned I’ve been looking for one of these for quite a while but the prices have been getting steep! My local GC has one with a crack running down the neck and they’re asking 1300$ for it!

I had one of those in the mid-2000s.... a late 90s fretless model as well. In fact, it looked almost exactly like that one. I lusted after a Warwick for a long time before I got it. If you can get on with the weight and the strange ergonomics of it, it has a great tone. Buy some wax for the body and neck from Warwick so you can keep the wood fed and it will keep it happy.

I had one I lost in a fire - a 2006 that I paid $700 for. It sounded wonderful but was almost 11 pounds.
