From silly to hard rockin!!!

Watch using the term relax too freely Tommy, people can take it wrong.. MadBass is a cool cat though, but others might come down kinda harsh on you.

Anyways, I say just keep the Dirnt and do what you want to it.

That would include many things that would put me in debt until I'm 54...

Plus it's easy for you to say Mr. "all my basses have contours" JK

And I'll watch my relaxing LOL

Like emo, what it once was, and what it now is, nothing in common besides a name....

Not completely sure what emo ever was, as I was never really into the emo scene. I know this though, punk an emo are both images that sell. If a kid thinks something is punk rock or emo, he's more likely to buy into the scheme and spend cash to look that way. Punk is now "trendy" and was never supposed to be that way.

ya your right an electrical tape x makes you legit...

i guess it's better than the dirnt star. :D

Emo, was one hardcore music, with emotional lyrics.
Now its modern pop-punk played by wannabe goths.

You're dead right though, trendy and punk were ment to be polar opposites.

emo use to be good in 2001ish , then they found hair dye , hair straighteners and razor blades.

Punk is so over sold now. I was at fred meyers( department store) they had sid vicious slip on shoes , god whats up with that.

That's just WRONG. :scowl:

I hate business profiting off of dead people instead of creating their own thing.

Considering that punk was about NOT merchandising, big business, etc...well that makes it even more despicable.:ninja:

Fore sure, its like sid's face on the toe of it and the box said sex pistols on it, it looked really freaking dumb. Alot of emo kids had sid's face pinned on there bags at my school , i never got the point of that.

Why?

It is a tried and true form of bloodsucking.

Maybe not big business, but punk was quite a lot about merchandising.

Actually, I would say it was all about merchandising. Bondage pants, Elmer's glue, and safety pins don't sell themselves y'know.
