Might be worth looking into the Klark teknik DIs. They are active and have both 1/4 inch and balanced xlr in and xlr out. Can use them as a regular DI or put them between the DI out on your head and the mixer for further isolation against buzzes. I use them often for that purpose or on the xlr outs from keyboard mixers to stop noises.
