Well. My band started playing again, and we were all pretty pumped about it. We've got a good number of shows lined up, started recording some stuff, and might even go out on a mini tour.

However, I got a call not to long ago from our singer. Our drummer is bailing out on our next show. We've been getting ready for the show for the last month; and now, a week and a half before it - our drummer bails. To go fishing.

We've had a few reliability issues with him in the past. He's a great friend to us all, and a good drummer; but I guess we're kicking him out...

This is rough for me. He and I have been through a lot together. He's one of my best friends; but... it really isn't working out. I don't know man... this is just rough for me.

Aw man, that sux!!! And to go *fishing*!?!? I mean, I like to fish, or used to anyway, and when the white bass are running on the Pedernales, its hard to say "no". But if you have a gig, you have a gig, fishing or not, and you have to honor that gig.

I understand, he's a good buddy. But he's shown where his priorities are. Too bad...a good drummer is hard to find, but they're no good if they can't be committed.

I'm so sorry, honey. I know how bad it feels.
