OK here she is...this is Pearl and is one of my favorite Sadowskys of all time. I have my eye on another NYC so this is the one that is going to go to make room for it. I am the original owner of this beauty and took it to the Sadowsky shop and had Rob L give her a master setup and sand the neck for me to give a "played in" feel. It plays like buttah and sounds huge. It has a ONE PIECE solid body and has a very even sweet tone. She is wearing Sadowsky Blue Nickels and has a Dunlop straplock system installed as well. She has no issues other than light hazing and one ding near the jackplate that I can not get to show up in a pic. I am not interested in trades at all and I would prefer either Paypal or US Postal Money Order for payment. I have about $2800 in her and I am asking $2,000 for her. SHe will ship in the Original Sadowsky case to the lower 48. I may consider international shipping but the buyer pays all fees and I will ONLY ship using the insured value of the bass which is $2800....Thanks for looking!

  4. May I ask what other NYC could possibly lure you away from that beauty?

Sorry, man, but no... See the grain on the back.

Not to diss your sales, though. An exceptionally beatiful bass. Somebody, quick...

Uh...that's because of the cutaway. Different plane = different grain.

Looks like a 1 piece to me. Which says nothing good or bad regarding quality.

  8. Wow! Nice grain!

  9. I am the original owner of this bass and bought her new. I was informed at the time of
Purchase she was a one piece. I can not find a seam. If this is incorrect I apologize. She sounds
Incredible and looks amazing either way. Don't let the body influence your buying decision. I only
Mentioned it because I was asked before if it was one piece and hoped to give as much info as possible.
Somebody will get a fabulous bass at a great price and that is all that matters in the end...

    Peace,

    T

I have to agree with Kalle74 that it's two pieces. Killer bass either way. You can pretty much see the center line where the grain changes. It's one of the most beautiful seams I've ever seen. The one on my 75 Jazz looked like a hack job compared to that. Best of luck with the sale.

+1, definitely two pieces (you can see the seam straight down the center of the back). But also, definitely a killer bass.

Looks like two pieces to me as well, however this is a SWEET bass. I wish I had the cabbage to take it off your hands Tom. Good luck.
