Fun Game, $500, $5,000, $50,000 Best Rig

I'm not sure this belongs in this particular thread, but here goes anyway. What kind of rig would buy if you had 1. $500, 2. $5,000, or 3.$50,000? I'm just wondering, due to GAS related issues...:D
Also, let's rule out pedals and cables and any other accessories. So basically, just bass and amp.

Mine would be...

1. Squire Vintage Modified Jaguar Special ($200), Ampeg BA112 ($280)

2. Sadowsky Metro RV 5 (about $2,500), Ampeg SVT VR amp and cab (about $2,500)

3. Callowhill j(unk) 5 all tricked out with Sadowsky pre, (About $3,500), Accugroove Bill Dickens 2x12 (about 2,500), Aguilar DB 750 (about $2,200). Ok so I didn't quite get to 50,000, but that's what I would want! (And what I'm about to have!)

Alright,

1)Squier VM P Bass in Amber because I like amber basses, and a Ampeg BA112.

2) Fender American Standard P Bass, Ampeg 810 Cab, Ampeg head

3) Buy a crap load of P Basses( About $12000 dollars worth maybe ? :) ), a Rickenbacker 4003($1,800), Tons of effect pedals ($????) Maybe a Jazz bass ($1000). Oh and a Musicman Stingray ($1500) Lakland 55-02 ($ 1000) G&L L2000 ( $1000) Thats about it, maybe some signature models for fun too :)

I'm game.

$500
1. Used Squier VM J ($200), used Acoustic B200 ($250)

$5,000
Used Warwick Streamer Stage II ($2500), Genz Benz GBE 1200 ($1450), Bergantino HS410 ($1050)

$50,000
Warwick Streamer Stage II custom ($6200), Warwick Streamer Jazzman custom ($4,000), Rob Allen Deep 5 ($4100), Cliff Bordwell Deluxe Ball ($4400) 18th century French upright with a carved back and German bow ($22,000), Tom Clement fretless ($2,000), Genz Benz GBE 1200 ($1450), Bergantino NV 412 ($1300)

1. A Squier and a cheap Ampeg

2. My soon-to-be Stambaugh (or my Upton on an upright gig, roughly the same price) and a GK 1001 with a Epifani 410.

3. A $48,000 double bass (think that could get me into Prescott territory? maybe a little optimistic) and an Acoustic Image coda.

1.- (500) beat to crap t 40 or ibanez / lawsuit bass + one of those eighties peavey rigs.. or a behringer combo

2.- (5000) I'll go with an svt, and ashdown 1x15 + 4x10. Plus... a ric. I'd buy everything used so I can spare some cash for a roadie.

3.- (50K) That's easy... same amp rig + 1951 p bass, 1957 p bass, 1965 J bass. Throw in custom colors as far as the money will go.

1. Under 500: Old school peavey rig (one of their mark heads with matching 2 by 15 cab for about 300 to 350 on the used market). Beat up Ibanez Blazer P or PJ bass for about 150 to 200.
2. Under 5000: 25th anniversary musicman 5 H S S with all rosewood neck ball family reserve for 3000 to 3300 neighborhood. Acoustic 360 301 rig in mint condition, which I imagine would probably go for around 1500.
3. Under 50000: Custom Alembic 5 string jazz bass and 5 string Les Paul Bass. Both 35n scale string through body. Both mahogany but the jazz with a graphite neck and the les paul a single piece of wood like jens ritters creations. Im guessing 30000 give or take. Ampeg Heritage b15 for a practice amp 4000USD. Green Amps Power Unit 200watt version with EL34S for about 3000USD with matching 2 15 for an extra 1200USD.

Hope you guys don't mind if the price is in €uros.
1. Fender Squier Vintage Modified J (250 €) + Gallien Krueger Backline 110 (130 €)
2. Warwick Thumb 6-string/Conklin GT-7 (800~1200, you may be lucky and get a GT-7 for around 600 €) and EBS Fafner head + EBS 4x12/8x10 cab.
3. God... let's see: Custom Warwick, Custom Conklin, Custom Jerzy Drozd, Custom Stambaugh, good upright bass, Boutique P bass, Boutique fretless P bass, Boutique J Bass, Boutique fretless J bass, Rickenbacker 4003, EBS Fafner head + EBS 8x10/4x12 + Accugroove El Whappo Grande 1x21. I may be near 50k...

$500 Rig: Ibanez ATK300 w/ Ampeg BA112
$5000 Rig: Used Passive Callowhill J(unk) 5, Ampeg B-15
$50000 Rig: New Callowhill 4 string fretless and 5 string Jazz, 5 and 6 string OBS customs, and a passive 4 string P Bass. Ampeg B-15, Orange Head and Cab, Gallien Krueger 800RB, Ampeg Heritage 810, Ampeg Heritige Head, A ton of effects, and a decent upright.
