Which bass is the funkiest?!?!?!
any Fender Jazz...
any bass played by the funkiest player
This is true but a Jazz style bass or Stingray doesn't hurt!
Yes, Paul Jackson and James Jamerson were lousy funk player s as they don't/didn't play Jazz basses.... .
Funk is a state of mind. You could be funky with a pawn shop $20 Rogue bass.
Lately I have used my P Bass Deluxe (2010) in the studio without any pedals, it did the job.
What's the funkiest bass for metal?
George Porter Jr. + P bass = Funk.
Funk isn't really limited to a particular bass, but really the player's style. I've always thought funk isn't so much about what notes you play, but what notes you don't play. The hardware is secondary.
I know there's no pick involved-even in metal.
What's the funkiest yellow suit for metal?
Every bass can sound funky, it's about how you play it.
Of course...I totally forgot the funkiest yellow suit for metal...
