Funniest Zappa tune?

The "Flakes" references to gawdawfull customer service is more timely today than ever.

Illinois Enima Bandit was good too. Actually, pretty much anything off of Zappa in New York is worth another listen.

I laughed out loud tonight at "I'm a Beautiful Guy" from You Are What You Is - especially the bridge:

They're drinking lighter
They're full of water
I hear them say: "Let's jog... ''
They're playing tennis
Their butts are tighter
What could be whiter?
Hey?
Your atheletic approach has a lot of appeal
The girl is responding to your little deal
She's modern 'n empty 'n totally vain
But beauty, of course, can feel no pain

Back in the 60's (I'm an old geezer) the Mothers of Invention were just so far out. People wanted serious stuff. We were on a mission to let the world know we were inportant and Zappa just killed us with his humor. "TV diner by the pool... aren't you glad you finished school"
Brown shoes don't make it.
Funny stuff. For some reason, I never got rid of his LPs.

I'm not a Zappa aficionado, but out of the few songs I have heard "Stinkfoot" always cracks me up. I love how disjointed the song is, it goes through 3 or 4 completely unrelated topics. The whole portion about the guy talking with his dog kills me:

"Well then Fido got up off the floor, and he rolled over
and he looked me straight in the eye
And you know what he said?
Once upon a time, somebody say to me
This is the dog talkin' now
What is your, conceptual, continuity?
Well I told 'em right then, Fido said
It should be easy to see
The crux of the biscuit
is the apostrophe
Well you know, the man that was talking to the dog
looked at the dog, and he said
Sort of staring in disbelief
You can't say that
he said
It doesn't, and you can't, I won't, and it don't
it hasn't, it isn't, it even ain't, and it shouldn't
it couldn't
He told him, No, no, no
I told him, Yes, yes, yes"
