So it's not just me, then...?

Sometimes, when the band is hitting so right, and I am grooving right along and get lost in the groove, and thinking man this is such an awesome groove and then I realize that _I_ am part of making that groove and in order to keep it grooving I need to pay more attention and start counting again.

I almost don't want to confess this, but there have been many nights through the years that as I stand on stage trying to look interested in what I'm doing, I'm thinking:
Laundry soap
coffee
salad supplies
oatmeal
toilet paper
cheese
what else . . . there's something else I need to pick up at the store on the way home.
