Here's a semi random question, I know the FI can be controlled by a keyboard, but what about an EWI (USB in particular)? I know the trick to use the EWI without a computer so I imagine it would be possible?

You can use the EWI as a controller for parameters and whatnot. Unless I missed it somewhere, the FI does require an audio signal to produce sound though. So you couldn't play the EWI into the FI and get synth tones as an output. You'd need something in between to generate audio from the MIDI output of the EWI.

Actually no, it can be "played" by MIDI notes as far as I understand.
Nice, I totally missed that. Found the relevant section on the page:
- Since FI includes a full featured analog modelling synthesizer, it is possible to use it as a monophonic synthesizer module, driving it from a keyboard controller or a computer through MIDI IN.
In that case, yep the EWI will work. That's awesome!

I wasn't expecting the VAT refund so soon but it is greatly appreciated. The excitement for the Future Impact is extreme.
Don't forget Customs can hold our precious for who knows how long once they get into the country. So even if they shipped yesterday it is dubious that we'd get them by Christmas.
See, just like I said: give them a minute. Then the next day the refunds poor in. Now I patiently wait for the package tracking to come.

Maybe, I hear this time a year they usher stuff through pretty quick. I just came from over seas with a flood of travelers and didn't see customs stop or search anyone.

I'm going to be gone here and there so mostly I just want tracking info so I can plan...would rather it come later when I'm here than me need to arrange with someone else to get it off of my doorstep!
