Hello all,
I would like to thank you all for your patience waiting for Future Impact V3 (this will be the official name). As you may remember an international team of 8 experts was formed a few months ago working voluntarily on sound design and bug tracking. We planned to stop the development of new features for the FI, and concentrate on finishing the rest of the work, which is a lot anyway; writing the new manual, writing the new editor, and creating many sounds, 99 of them included in the default set of the FI, and many more offering to our customers free of charge. But as this team started to work a huge number of new ideas came up (most of them from Peter). We were hesitating if we should rather release 3.00 as it is, and include these ideas in later upgrades. However, there was a good reason why we decided rather to delay the release, and work on including these ideas right now. The reason was that the new ideas would require again new changes in the program file structure, and this is a very inconvenient subject both for us in the development, and just as well for the users. We want to provide our users a 100% compatibility with sounds that were developed earlier and stored in the old *.prg format. So, now we included all these new ideas in a software that offers a revolutionary way to modulate and control all parameters of your sound in real-time. Now we are really very close to the end. Both the FI software and the editor are in beta testing phase, with almost all features ready. The team developed already quite many amazing new sounds, and Peter is checking and formatting the new manual that I have written. We will release the new FI V3 devices with a new graphics design, and we will offer all our customers the new software free of charge for upgrade within a few weeks.
