In the end, I guess that can be the use for the list - if it convinces him to make more than all the better!

I agree, that's kind of what I had in mind. There is no way we can make it a formal list when the developer isn't even posting (or enforce any "commitment"), but there may still be value in quantifying just how many people would be very likely to buy.

Yeah a little early for a "list" of any sort. I think people are just excited and pumped to think they'll be assured of getting one of the pedals. The whole pre-order mentality coming into effect. If he's still in the enclosure mockup phase we still have a while to wait. It takes time for custom enclosures to be produced.

I'll be more interested when we know the price and finished feature list. I'm still of the opinion that a release of 100 is the right number though. It's high enough that you'll get a lot of demos and discussion but it's low enough that people will inevitably miss out which will drive hype and excitement for future runs.

However, I haven't seen anyone else suggest a BETTER way to judge interest. Obviously this isn't a legal binding contract, but it at least shows that there is a lot of interest in this pedal.

I'm very surprised not to see a SD or USB port on this thing. You know, software being what it is.
