I have just placed the order for one unit. Not knowing there was a campaign, I was pleasantly surprised to see the lower price.

Absolutely!Looks like I can update it to ver 3?
Just noticed that FI is on a summer sale price of €269 for the whole of August. Price includes taxes and shipping. That’s about £230 delivered.

Used prices are fairly steady around £190-220 (Basschat, Facebook etc), but yes, no point doing that when a new one is so cheap right now.I ordered mine last night because of the sale.
I’ve been eyeing for a few months now, and prices online range from £300 uses to £500.
With the sale of £228 ish, I was on it!!

I’m not certain whether they send shipping confirmation emails. Don’t fret. It’ll get there. And bear in mind there’s a pandemic on still, so stuff is slow. And it seems my unit is still not shipped, six days later? At least I have not received any email stating so...![]()
It’s a great time to get on board now that the price is so good and the features are matured. And another one ordered. I have fought the Temptation for a long time. With the new editor released and the sale the Temptation was just too great oh, and my C4 needs a new friend.. man this place cost me money. I thought I could cure the urge of buying pedals by building them. LOL. I need to start getting rid of some not collecting. But they all sound so good, and I'm on a Dunwich Kick right now.

If you’re concerned then send them an email directly.So... Eleven days since order, and I have not heard anything from Panda Audio, other than a generic order confirmation. Should I be concerned? Has anyone else ordered in the last couple of weeks?

Glad it got there. Yes, not all the stock sounds are to taste. Get yourself a compatible interface and you can load it up with a bunch of my patches from the database. It arrived today!
Plugged it in immediately, and started goofing around. There are some redundancies, but lots of very unique stuff as well. Lovely delays! Many of the stock sounds seem giggable as they are.
In general, it sounds a bit smoother and less aggressive than my C4, as an initial impression.
An odd built-in effect is the time travelling feature. I just hooked it up, grabbed a bass, played a couple of notes. SWOOOSH. I look up, and 45 minutes had just disappeared.![]()

I’d highly recommend getting an expression pedal (and the means to hook it up) as many of my patches do cool things with expression.
You wouldn’t necessarily need to tweak it on the fly if you didn’t want to. I have quite a lot of patches set up to morph between two sets of settings on a pedal; you could simply find the sweet spot. It allows for different sounds within a single preset.I need a new smartphone, but then I will definitely research the C4 and FI communities.
However, I do not see any MIDI setups or even an expression pedal in my future. I do not have the greatest multitasking capability to work an additional pedal. In one of the bands, playing from sheet music, plus doing sound for the band already keeps me on my toes. There, I might use a pedal for a handful of songs per gig.
In my other band, we play more improvisational, but I want to keep a fairly straight forward rig, not too derail my focus too much. Just using an expression pedal at home is hard to justify.
