Wrong thread man. This is all about the Future Impact.

Has it been a few days yet? Seems like it has since my last post.

Clips!

Yeah, this is feeling a LOT like the Beat Buddy right now, one of the other projects I followed from early on through its completion. Which ultimately turned out okay. But you get waves of excitement then skepticism with each reveal and/or delay.

Feels more like the Penny Farthing thread to me. Established pedal entity is coming out with a new pedal, but in the waiting my GAS was waning ... well, waning GAS, that was the Penny Farting thread. Waning GAS isn't the worry here, it's the Future Impact on my finances — Future Implications thread weighs heavily on my wallet.

BTW, I blackmailed uahm bribed uhn-ahh convinced, yes that's it, convinced JWR, and will get his FI on the flip, so you don't have to do that list anymore.

yes you can either use only one filter or both in parallel. the second filter is always bandpass and has always a higher (adjustable) cutoff frequency. this gives you some nice formant (a.k.a. vocal like) effects. the filter can be modulated by an lfo.

effects as of now: time modulation effects (all in one delay chorus flanger), overdrive, and parametric eq. separate controls for synth and dry signal into the effect section...

As long as it does Cat-like caterwauls that digress into Yoy yoy yoy and Yow yow yow I'll be happy. An FX loop for inserting our preferred OD would be cool... I'm guessing it's too late in the game to suggest that, though.

Sorry Blu bro, only us paper-clipper heads in this thread...

Man your posts are bizarre and funny! lol!

CHeeRS! Life's too short not to have fun... Certainly it's shorter than this thread, which is clip-pip-pipping along...

I think we could all use a little more medication...

MORE CLIPS! Keep your eye on the pill bottle...

If only a FI clip would magically appear...

Kulit17, you horrid greedy hoarder you — evil minds think alike. Yah, if it gets sent to the wilds of TB, maybe there'll be enough spare FI units to bump our two-fors up to three apiece!

While I still think a Mac editing interface should come first...

I like how the website has changed. Lots more info, more comparisons with the ADI and how the PFI blows the former out of the water (ex distortion: ADI's 32 kHz sampling rate vs PFI's 128 kHz ). I like that I could hook up a MIDI keyboard to it, if necessary (might need to shut up a musical director), and then play the parts from the bass anyway.

I really like that there's no crazy power requirements: "70 milliamperes from a Roland/Boss type 9V stabilized supply". Hey Radial! Take notes!

What I like most about the website updates is that the unit is no longer just the FI, but now being called the "FI I.", which leads me to think Andras is thinking long term as in "FI I.i", "FI I.ii", "FI II" ... "FI II.ix" etc.
