Fuzz addict club! If you don't like it fuzz off!

Hey! I did not go thru the whole thread, so i'll just fire off my question:

does anyone know a fuzz pedal that sounds somewhat like this, but is cheaper and has better availability? I wouldn't mind if the sound was "dirtyer".

Don't know if it's 100% to the Colorsound, but the MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe is a Tonebender. And no, it doesn't lose much bass at all, if any, and has dry and wet knobs as a little insurance that it doesn't lose low end.

Not sure which Tonebender the Bass Fuzz Deluxe is though. The Supa Tone bender, and the Bass Fuzz (based on the supa tone bender) were actually Muff based and not Tone Bender based.

Just saw this today on Juputer effects FB page. If you build it yourself it would be pretty affordable.

Where can i hear the Colorsound Tonebender's sound? I haven't been able to find videos of it. And just one proper video of the Bass Fuzz in Youtube.

EDIT: oh, but hey, there are many kinds of Tonebenders, i see... are they all usable with bass too?

So, there are actually a few pedals based on this now.

#1 SFX Micro Fuzz
#2 Stomp Under Foot Rhinosaur
#3 Stomp Under Foot Dirty Rooster. There is a dirty rooster in the classifieds for CHEAP!

EDIT: Classifieds AD: For Sale - Stomp Under Foot Dirty Rooster (Jumbo Tonebender) | TalkBass.com

D'you know about their availability in Europe? Couldn't find any sounds on YouTube...

Listened to MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe. Too fine a fuzz for me, i'm looking for a more grainy and coarse one.

Here's another example.. If i'd be able to get this out of it, would be cool, but that's kind of extreme. Starting from ~1:30

Well, the SFX Micro Fuzz will definitely be available in Europe since it is made in London :)

those two pedals are very different beasts....but neither is going anywhere....I dig them both for very different reasons
