Fuzz addict club! If you don't like it fuzz off!

^^^ just be aware that the Diabolik is a bit different kind if beast, and can take some time to dial in. The controls are quite interactive. Initially, it can be a bit wild and too high gain for some peoples taste... I was blown away by the sound right off the bat... I'm a sucker for them Brassmasters. :)

Can't be harder/as hard as the Pickle with its six control knobs. I mean, at this point, I know about where I need to have the controls set, but those bigger knobs are so ridiculously sensitive. I've never turned the volume past like a 2 in either practice or live because it comes in way louder than my clean(er) tone otherwise. It's like I'm limited to about 20% of the pedal's output. I've been watching demos of the Diabolik and it seems very manageable and I don't really need to take a photo every time I need to recall a setting.

I actually loved the Dirty Donny. It would have been absolutely perfect if it had a bass control. There was simply too much low end for me. I know, were bassists, were supposed to want the low end. And I do. But the DD was to the point where it took all the articulation out of my playing when I engaged it. You could def tell it was on, I just couldn't dial out that sub bass freq that was killing it for me. Its a shame too because I really did like the way it sounded.

Now the Centurion and Diabolik are on the tops of my GAS list. Along with the meatbox reissue and a Digitech Obscura. Oh, and an MXR ISO brick.......and the MXR bass dist......Who am I kidding??! And I thought I was pretty content. ***?!

Yeah if I was to offer any words of wisdom on the Diabolik is that it can be incredibly loud. The Squish knob is actually very sensitive and can go to gated madness very quickly. I usually run the fuzz and blend about even and just a dash of squish. At the end of the day it can also be used as a cool clean boost. Just turn the squish and fuzz all the way down and turn up the clean to taste. I don't ever use it this way because i bought it to be a ripping fuzz obviously but its nice to know it has other uses. :)

I had an Acid Pig, but the BlowerBox took it's place for me.

What I have heard from people is that the Acid Pig, while a nice size, did not have the same low end as the Iron Pig. I think if he had not so quickly folded Earthbound and started Acid Age right after the initial run of the Iron Pig, then restarted Earthbound but delayed production of the Iron Pig to sell out the remaining Acid Pigs, the Iron Pig would be a lot more prevalent on boards.
