anyone ever use a Zvex Fuzz Factory on a bass? from what i hear from it on a guitar (which is awesome), i've been thinking maybe i should get one.

The same company that makes the Fuzz factory also makes the Wolly Mammoth. It's a fuzz made for bass.
i just watched a demo movie on fuzz factory, and i thought it was great on a guitar. as for bass...i don't have an answer to that question. 
some time ago, i've tried woolly mammoth with my bass at church. unfortunately, the sound was too dark and heavy metal-ly for praise music.

shhh.... I use my Muff and my Hot Tubes for Praise
no one's complained...Actually depending on what you are playing, Fuzz -> Phase is a great combo... Our church (and through various bands) plays everything from old hymns on organ with the band helping out to David Crowder and Relient K.
They're one and the same. Few people notice the little Pi symbol, but it's there.BassGreaser said:

I use it more for overdrive than full-on fuzz, but I love the tube-driven goodness of my EH English Muff'n. I have a Keeley-modded ProCo Rat distortion on the way. I'm looking forward to giving it a run.

They are both muffs, but it depends on which one you have (russian muff, american muff, metal muff,or muff'n) Comparing the russian to the american, russian is more 'harsh' and american is smoother, I tend to liek the russian more, the metal muff also includes and equ, which is quite handy.
I am getting a zvex woolly mammoth, i love the fact that they're hand painted and vary with every one you get! A truley unique pedal, and on the demo video it sounds absolutly amazing!
Three words: Little Big Muff.
