A thing that always haunted my mind:
synth fuzz sounds come from buzz saw or creamy smooth type fuzz?
I don't know -- maybe neither. Isn't "synthy" sound really a separate issue from creamy or buzz saw... more about an artificial tone, and maybe "gated" sustain, or envelope type of quality to the attack/sustain?
