No guitars.... Brilliant!

Sadly, Amarillo isn't much of a music scene outside the local cover band (lots of work in that relm). Feel free to shoot me a PM if you're passing through the area though. That is, if I'm still here. I'm about due for a move.

thanx bro, Ryan and fams work is a most welcome addition to our journey, I cant wait to pick-up a few more of their pedals, and I think I sold our singer on the BDPG, if he doesnt like it I will buy it and put that bad boy to work. The Stache is a game changer for me, now we are heavier sounding.

Alright gang! Just sent Ry payment for the small box K painted BDPG that was pictured on facebook the other day.

This is my first fuzzrocious!!

For weeks I've been debating which one to get (and I'm sure I'll end up with more) - but since I have a handful of pedals I already use and I've read about the magic things that happen when you drive other fx into the BDPG, it seemed like the best fit at the moment :)

Can't wait to get my hands on this guy!!

Grab the grey stache as well you won't regret it trust me.

Ram the Man Parts? Anyone have one yet? What's it like? Do I have to be the first?

I already pre-ordered one when Ryan first posted them for sale, I cant wait! I seems like exactly what I want, a good distortion to layer on top of other distortions, and I love the idea of the voltage control, cant wait to get some glitchy fuzz tones going!

So my girl got me a copy of Bass player magazine for a stocking stuffer. I was flipping through it and noticed something odd. It was a review of the Fuzzrocious Heliotropic Fuzz Pedal. However, the picture linked to the review was for a Catalinbread Heliotrope pedal. It was in the Holiday 2012 edition.

Anyone else catch this?

Yeap. We talked about it earlier in the thread. The February issue published an editor's note recognizing the mistake and showing a correct picture.

Currently loving my OSD!

So far I've only tried it in my band where I favor a cleaner tone, but even there it worked quite nicely on lower settings. Unfortunately one of my two cables gave up the ghost half way through practice, so I didn't get to demo it as much as I hoped, but I'll be jamming with the band I actually intended it for on Thursday.

In other tone-related news, I also just reinstalled the original preamp back into my RD Artist, and wow! It may not be the best preamp in the world (40 year old tech), but that bass sounds WAY better with the pre than without it, and anyone who trys to tell you otherwise is full of it.
