My Stache and BDPG arrived today, I think, I might actually be finished once my PT mini arrives... maybe :hiding:

Overall I am really really happy with this setup, the stache is an amazing fuzz and the BDPG just makes everything better :hyper:

to me the bdpg does that loud live situation cranked clean tone thing where the input gain just barely distorts but the master volume is cranked so the speakers are starting to break up and you get that wicked growl, only you can get it at any volume and trim off that farty speaker woof out junk with the tone stack.

Sold. That is exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks!

This sounds great! What are the odds we could get a BDPG with a balanced XLR output?

And does it have enough output to drive a power amp?

Tried it through the power amp in on my PF500, worked well, and sounded very good

Any chance of a custom rack mounted version of the BDPG Ryan?
Would be a great idea if/when I upgrade to a higher power rig

Absolutely. We just made a racked Rat Tail for Caleb Scofield from Cave In/Zozobra/Old Man Gloom!

It does sound great straight into a power amp, the thing is that the BDPG also makes everything else in your chain sound better, including the preamp of your bass head. Thats the pedal I'd take if I could only bring stomp to a gig cuz i could borrow or go to the local guitar shop and get cheezy guitar pedals if I had too and the BDPG would make em sound good.

I'm in with Chris Merril's former Rat Tail. This looks like a custom-order from him because his name is written on it in a couple places. Custom or not, it's ferocious. Once I got some tips on settings from another thread, I was off to the races. Unveiling at band practice coming up on Friday.
