In honor of the fact that the best TV show ever was filmed in entirely in the city where I live, I think I'm going to shoot for a pedal with Breaking Bad artwork sometime, I'm going to miss the local action, they filmed allover the city. Brian Cranston, unlike most celebrities who work here, would hang out in the University area and was totally cool to everyone and would hang out with you and shoot the ****.

How would you guys switch things up if yr adding some lovable Durham Sex Drive?? I just picked one up and it sounds GREAT!!!! Last after the BDPG is a tad noisy.

Gonna flop em and see what happens. Almost NO ONE runs these things early in the chain and I totally get why, I hope I don't have to play to much of the ol' switch-aroo

So I picked up this month`s issue of Bass Player magazine(September 2013) yesterday while I was grocery shopping. The cover features 3 bassists,each of a "Progressive Metal" band. They have a round table discussion with Liam Wilson of The Dillinger Escape Plan,Nolly Getgood of Periphery and Evan Brewer of The Faceless.
About half way through the interview they start talking about their rig setup. Liam Wilson mentions that besides his Sans Amp,he uses Fuzzrocious.

I thought that was pretty cool.

I got to help a couple of pro sound friends of mine work a show with DEP opening for Disturbed, and the guys in Dillenger were throwing ham sandwiches at the singer of Disturbed when they played because he was chubby! That was really cool!

holy crap,Dillinger Escape Plan opened for Disturd at one point? I didn`t know that. I`ve seen DEP play a ton of club shows back in the early to mid 2000`s but never as a opener for radio rock.


Also,I love my Oh See Demon! Out of the 6 dirt pedals on my board(5 of which are Fuzzrocious) I think I use the Demon most of all. Or I stack a 2nd dirt pedal before or after the Demon for extra gnarly grit. It just has this certain kind of distortion that`s really heavy but defined and clear.

it was a festival tour and if I recall correctly they didnt last long, actually the ham sandwich deal may have got them kicked off prematurely. I stack my Demon with my Grey Stache and love it but I am thinking of trying an RTM for something different and the RTM seems to play really well with others, but the Demon rules the roost. I love the GS too but after using Muff family peds for so long I wouldn't mind something different but equally intense and the RTM was made to stack with other drives and kill on its own. The Demon actually makes things more defined and present IMO, its the best OD ever for me I love the finger attack and definition.

And now SWR is out of production and Genz-Benz is next if they haven't stopped already. And the SVT-cl and 810e cab are made in Asia, the most iconic USA amp rig of all time! I don't know what those new SVT-CL's are supposed to be, but its not an SVT IMO, I'll take my GKRB(still made in the USA) and BDPG over that any day!
