you can't spell housewife without a LITTLE ho up on it.

i think... it's more ME that's the slut than the pedals. i don't blame them for their temptress ways. and i understand if they hate my wandering eye.

OOOO! SHINY!!

What's the general sound of the gemini?

Trebly distortion on top of warm midrange overdrive. The bass is a little cut with the clean channel down, but boosted it sounds like a clean boost (no pun intended) driving it. The Gemini switch changes the character to an almost dark fuzz territory, but its not quite aggressive enough for me so I mostly leave it off. I use the gemini in front of my Pickle Pie for full on articulate doom sound, and infront of my b:assmaster for synthy type fuzz. I leave my Gemini on 95% of the time, but its not quite the grunty aggressive bite that I want sometimes. I'd either like to add something, or have a more aggressive sounding pedal overall that can be left on.

Do either the rat or the demon clean up with playing dynamics? The Gemini does a little, but for harder stuff I have to turn the gain up more.

As far as from what I have heard from videos/clips online, the rat seems to be more aggressive and fuzzier than the demon, but I don't know if the demon will have enough bite and grunt for what I'm looking for.

Basically I want something in between my Gemini and Pickle Pie.

OSD is where you need to look. Cleans up-ish as you roll back, gets grunty or raspy depending on the tone setting. Pushes other pedals well too!
