and DD has too much gain for my taste, i'll try with internal trimmers tomorrow

DD has too much gain? The RT and GS+ are both higher gain than the DD for sure!
If you want lower gain, definitely mess with the trimmers.

i mean, it seems has more gain than in the samples
i wanted that "overdrived tube" sound as in
http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzrociouspedals/ddfinger1.mp3 for example

but my result is a bit more overdrived and saturated, that's all
i'll mess with trimmers for sure
