FX loop help!!!

bass --> Sansamp main input
Sansamp ouptut --> GK head's fx loop RETURN jack
Nothing gets plugged into the GK's main input or its fx loop send jack.

Well, you could also go:
bass --> GK main input
GK loop send --> Sansamp input
Sansamp output --> GK loop return
And that would mean you'd be using both the GK and Sansamp preamps at the same time, which could mean muddy tone and extra noise (you should experiment to find out for sure). The way I suggested before, you would just be using the Sansamp preamp, completely bypassing the GK's preamp.
