FYI - Amplitube 5 MAX Deal

I have been using Amplitube 4 for years. Sweetwater is selling the usually over-priced Amplitube 5 MAX package ($600) for $100. I bought it.

I don't usually want to make commercials for products, but if my fellow TB'ers want a good deal, there it is. No need to have any previous version of the software. You get all the amp packs, etc. I think the sale is good for another week.

Adding in Tonex for $50 more is also a great deal. Amplitube and Tonex work together.
IK has loads of special rare amps and pedals captured in Tonex, and there's a huge user community doing more.

Amplitude and Tonex are both on iPhone and iPad. It's a separate license, but any of your owned Tonex captures will load on any platform. No need to re-license captures.

Note that you don't need Tonex Capture device to capture amps. It just makes it easier for some interfaces that don't have re-amp capabilities.

Yes. The only problem I have now (and it is not a small problem), is that I did not create presets for each time I used Amplitube 4. Now in 5, I am having to go back to my 4 sessions, saving the settings as a preset, and copying them to a .at5p file and reloading hem in 5. Kind've a pain, but I will not likely upgrade to 6 in my lifetime...

Still a good deal.

Was that a one day deal on Tonex? I don't see it for $50 anymore.

It's like it hidden, but it will show up in the cart.

I bought it also.
I prefer to mic amps etc whenever possible and try to avoid the digital stuff. The sound is more personal and unique to the player. At least to me it is. More importantly though I get analysis paralysis bad. I get lost deciding what I like best and never get anything done.

All that said, at that price its worth having. They can be real problem solvers when you have that one track that just is not gelling

I seek IK is also offering its "Total Studio 3.5 MAX" at a substantial discount. Only $199.99, saving a whopping $12,023!! Talk about puffery...
