Hey, i was just searchin musiciansfriend.com and found this really beautiful G&L Bass, semi-hallow body blues bursthttp://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/GL-SemiHollow-ASAT-Bass?sku=511108)

My question is: Can i get this bass (same blue burst, telecaster shape) in solid body. I was going to email the company but figured this way would be quicker and easier.

yeah i saw taht one, but i wasnt sure if it only comes in 'Butterscotch Blonde' color or if i can get the blue burst.

i don't know about going through musicians friend, but i know for a fact that if you want a solid body asat bass in blue burst you can definitely get one from a g&l dealer.

just make sure that you get a maple neck so if you find out that you don't really care for the bass, you can sell it to me. for cheap.

alright lol. thanks for the responce you're first one on list if i end up not liking it - which is doubtful they look really sweet

I suggest that you play one in person first. Make sure you are standing up using a strap. That way you will know if the neck dive the ASAT basses have will bother you or not. It bothers some folks like me, but maybe you'll be ok with it. if you don't like the neckdive you can always order an L2000 (same electronics) with the smaller neck like the one on the ASAT.
