Can I play?

Hey pOk,

Is the back of your ASAT black or burst?

I thought that my L1505 would be burst on front and back, but now they tell me you have to specify that you want it front AND back.

I wish they would have asked me about that when I ordered it.

the back of mine is burst...

i ordered mine on musician's friend (not the smartest idea...it was missing the string tree and i actually ordered 3-tone burst), but i think i like 2-tone better now and i ended up getting $150 knocked off the price. all this is to say that i didn't have an option, but i'm glad the back was bursted.

I didn't know Musicians friend sold G&L. I got mine at Buffalo Bros. I noticed you and I both have a Warwick Corvette and a Boogie Walkabout. I think the walkabout was the best investment in both tone and lower back pain relief that anyone can make.

Yeah, I was torn between ordering the L1505 and a Corvette fretless. I have a Tribute L2500 with frets and really like it alot. So I went with the G&L. So far I am only slightly dissapointed about the burst on the back. But it still looks great. I havent played it much yet and the strings that are on it suck, so I need to get them changed. Probably Chromes.
