Here's some pics of my 1990 SB-1. It looks a bit rough but it's done over 1000 gigs and dozens of recording sessions and travelled thousands of kilometres. I can't say enough about it.

Chef, the nut width looks narrow in the photo, but I think that's because of the camera angle. It measures just a tad over 1 & 5/8 inches.

Check out some quality G&Ls. A pair of L1Ks (82 & 85) and a pair of SB-2s (89 & 93) and they ALL sound sweet.
