G&L L2000 pickguard?

The only thing I have seen was some clear pickguard from (I think) a Japanese company. Im sure alot of these custom pickguard makers could do it but you would either have to really do your homework with measurements and drawings or send them your bass. I think they would look great with pickguards on them.

You want it for looks or function? I have installed a ...I dunno "slap plate" maybe I would call it........on mine. I could never get used to that huge gap between strings and body for the finger side of my slap style so I have a rectangle of stained wood above the neck PUP---looks like a ramp slid over a bit--looks fine and great function. I should get a pic of it.

Yeah, I was thinking something like an oversized P-Bass pickguard. It's really just for looks, but I eventually want to learn how to play with a pick.

A buddy of mine made one that was modeled after a Stingray pickguard, I thought it was a SR guard that somehow just fit when I initially saw it. It didn't cover any of the switches or knobs and didn't look out of place really.

G&L Tributes sold in japan have the option to come with a pickguard. Looks like this:
