Does anybody here have a pickguard on their G&L L2000 or L2000 Tribute bass? I've found a few threads about it but there aren't any pictures. I'm thinking tort since the body is natural and the fretboard is rosewood.

The only thing I have seen was some clear pickguard from (I think) a Japanese company. Im sure alot of these custom pickguard makers could do it but you would either have to really do your homework with measurements and drawings or send them your bass. I think they would look great with pickguards on them.
Yeah, I was thinking something like an oversized P-Bass pickguard. It's really just for looks, but I eventually want to learn how to play with a pick.
G&L Tributes sold in japan have the option to come with a pickguard. Looks like this:

A pickguard really isn't necessary if you use proper picking technique.
