G&L L2000 Tone help.

I just bought a used L2000 and it's fantastic! The problem is I have no idea what any of the controls are besides master volume.

Can you guys enlighten me on the controls and let me know some of your favorite settings?

-control closest to the neck is the pickup selector
-second control is series/parallel
-third switch is preamp on/preamp on (low-Z mode)/preamp off
