These three wicked G&L guitars arrived recently, and two of 'em are nitro! The binding on the Emerald Blue Metallic ASAT Special is super cool, that one looks straight out of the 60's.

And here's a sexy Blueburst L-2500 that also arrived recently! This is a gorgeous example of that finish - it's a deep, rich blue, and there's not so much black that it just looks dark.

And here's a wicked Nitro Vintage White JB!

This one weighs just 8.9 lbs, which is pretty good for an Alder-bodied JB!

I think this may be the first Redburst G&L I've ever had in stock. Don't quote me, but it's not a color I usually think to order. Wow - what a fool I've been!

I wish I had lit this one better when I shot it. The finish is much prettier in person. See how on the picture of the back the red is nice and clear? Both shots that show the front have a strange haziness to them that is not actually there, it's glare of some sort. I also can't believe I left fingerprints on the body in that closeup shot. For shame!!!

I've got about 15 other instruments I need to shoot and post, so I may come back to shoot this one again in a couple weeks...

Here's a recent JB-5 that came and went before it even made it onto our website. I can't keep a JB-5 in stock! Well, except for the Monkey Pod one that I can't seem to find the time to get posted. I need more hours in a day!!

And here's a gorgeous and VERY LIGHT LB-100 (just 7.1 lbs). Slap a black pickguard on this one, and it would look exactly like my own LB-100! I can make that happen at no cost, if that would push anyone over the edge.

Hey Folks, I just wanted to let you all know that these G&L basses are IMO one the very best bargains out there, especially the LB-100! I just recently received this one from Greg because I needed a lightweight, inexpensive P-bass, and couldn't be happier!

The neck is absolutely perfect, the lightweight Empress body is fantastic (especially if you have a back issue) and sort of a cross between Alder and Swamp Ash tone-wise, and the fit and finish is outstanding! IMO the quality on these are way better than anything else in the $1k-$2k price range (probably even higher). Even if you decide to upgrade the pickup and/or pickguard it's still a super high quality bargain!

I can't recommend the LB-100 enough for a REALLY GREAT P-bass, and Greg at Rocket Music is always great to deal with! I believe they have some more Empress LB-100's in stock too!

Interesting to see them going back to the stamped serial numbers instead of the plates they've been using the past few years.

Here's another JB-5 that came and went today. This one was a special order for TB'er swafran.

Don't mind what look like scratches on the pickguard. That's the protective film that is scratched, the pickguard underneath will be pristine when the new owner peels that off.
