G&L Latest Arrivals

Here's a gorgeous new SB-2! This one is begging to play some Motown or Stax tunes...

This one will get you noticed on stage!

Man, I do love the LB-100. I own two of them now, and the second one I bought is the best sounding P bass I own! And I own a '75 Fender and Two Mike Lull P4's, so that's saying something.

If I ever went back to a passive 4 string I'd be tempted to go G&L again. A 21 fret P bass would be pretty flexible instrument.

Way back (before the internet and such) my local store was - still is - a G&L dealer. My first "custom ordered" bass was a G&L L2500 honey burst quilt maple with a ridiculous birdseye board. I then got an unlined fretless ebony board honey burst L2000 and a Blueburst L2000 with a maple board. All USA made as they weren't doing the Tribute yet. If the internet never happened and I never found out about other stuff, I would have been very happy with those 3 basses. I'd have a hell of a lot more money as well.

I made that transition about 3 years ago, all I play now are passive 4-string P's. I also shortly thereafter switched from roundwounds to flats. I've had ZERO second thoughts, I'm still over the moon with everything that's come from making those moves. My tone, my playing, the vibe I present on stage... it's all exactly the way I want it.

Here's another nitro finished G&L. This one is an SB-2 in Nitro Vintage White, and the neck finish is a tinted Natural Gloss (also nitro).

These photos make the color on the neck look a little uneven, but it's not like that in person. Just a trick of the light, sorry! In reality, it's an even, gorgeous, warm amber that looks really sharp.

Here's a G&L JB with an Empress body, Maple board and Tort pickguard. The finish is a lovely creamy white, though I have a heck of a time capturing that accurately in photos. This other JB probably has the best representation of the color in a photo that I've shot. The color on this bass looks just like that other one, it's less pure white than I think these photos show.

This bass weighs just 7.6 lbs, and it is available!

Here's a beautiful fretless MJ-5 with an unlined Maple Board! Yowza!!

This one was a special order for James in TN, so it will pass right through our store. It won't ship until Friday, though, so I did have some time to take these photos.

April 1st! Wow, this year is flying by. Unfortunately, that means my credit terms with G&L are ALSO flying by. LOL

By the end of this month, I have to pay G&L for 6-7 basses that I already have in stock. So I need to sell some G&L basses out of my inventory in a big way. I'm happy to discount more heavily than normal, and I'm also happy to entertain offers on anything. I'll get back to trying to make some money on these things once I'm out from under this debt...

I've got L-1000's, LB-100's, L-2500's, JB-5's, SB-2's... all sorts of G&L goodness.

I've also still got Boosta Grande, Opti Comp and Sonic Stomp pedals from BBE that I will throw in for free! One pedal for every bass you buy!

Please PM or call me if you're into any of it!

I'm having a banging Tuesday! So far I've sold Invalid Link Removed, a Tuttle guitar and a Melancon guitar. My impending debt crisis is that much smaller now, so I'm probably down to just 3-4 more G&L's that I'll be motivated to move at substantially discounted prices.

Please let me know if anything catches your eye before my temporary crisis passes altogether!
