It's got some subtle flame figure in the back of the neck, too. You can see it pretty well in that photo of the back of the bass.

I'm trying to beef up my LB-100 inventory again. I'm shooting to have a mix of Maple and RW boards, and I also want a mix of P and J necks available. This bass isn't actually an LB-100, but somehow I justified grabbing it for my inventory because it's got a Maple board and a #8 neck. LOL
This is another one with a Clear Gloss neck, too. I want to point that out, because it can be hard to tell from the photos.
Oh - and it's the special version of an SB-2 with a tone control, the SB-2T model!

And here's an actual LB-100 that moves me towards my goal. This one has the #8 neck (1.5" nut) with a 7.5" radius, and the fretboard is Indian Rosewood.
Surf Green is a new color for 2018, and this is the first one I've seen. I think it's beautiful! Especially with the RW board and matching headstock like this bass has...

Oh oh. The G&L GAS is strong. The more I play the ones I just got the more I want. I don't mean that from a gear ho perspective either. The tones and playability of these Basses is infectious. Not sure what took me so long to board this train but I'm glad I'm on it. Glad Greg is the conductor too. This is gonna be a fun ride.
