G&L Latest Arrivals

Happy New Year, everybody!

I was a good boy before I left town for New Year's. I photographed everything I have in inventory that was not yet posted on my website, and turns out that was 6 or 7 basses. I'll be posting those ASAP. First up is a CLF Research L-1000 from G&L in Pharoah Gold!

Here's a brand new L-2000 with a lightweight Ash body finished in Sonic Blue. She's a beaut!

Unfortunately for me and my original customer who special ordered this one, this is another special order gone awry. It was supposed to have a #8 neck and be 8.5 lbs or less, but it's got a #12 neck and it weighs 8.7 lbs. Close, but not quite! LOL

This is the third special order gone wrong in 2019 that has left me with a bass I wasn't planning to stock, which means that I'm highly motivated to sell at least 3 G&L's out of inventory. Tell your friends or take advantage yourself! PM for a quote on anything I have in stock. It's Crazy Greg's "Good Gosh, I've got too many G&L's in stock right now" sale. :) I wish I could post the prices I would take for this stuff, but I'm constrained by G&L's advertising policies. But a PM doesn't cost you anything, and I will make it worth your while to click that mouse!

G&L continues to roll out the new products. Here are two examples of their new short-scale model, the Fallout Bass. These things are really cool! I always love getting a little does of inspiration from playing something that feels different, and a short scale always does the trick to shake me out of my usual habits.

The electronics are cool on these. G&L stole a bit from the L-1000, these basses offer the parallel/split/OMG mode mini-toggle.

I'm assuming that model is only available as a Custom Shop order, and if that assumption is correct... the street price is around $4999.

So... no. :) LOL

My understanding is that the only non-Custom Shop 40th Anniversary bass model is an SB-1. I'm assuming everything else must be a Custom Shop piece, and I won't be taking any chances with inventory at that sort of pricing. I'm happy to special order one if anyone wants one!
