G&L LB-100 Extravaganza!!!

The red one with the tort guard is nice, too. Can't wait to see some more pics on your site. I'd love a Roscoe but I just don't have the money, and I think for a "non-Fender" G&L seems to have the P bass thing nailed. I like the 21 fret board as well as all the other improvements and better QC.

Here are my photos of the Royal Purple Metallic one. Slurp!!

The lighting kind of makes it look more binged out than it is in person. It'll look like that under bright stage lights, but it's a little more subdued in everyday lighting.

The closeup shot of the body does a pretty good job of showing the range of looks it'll have under different lights. It's a dark purple with no sparkle at all on the arm contour, but it looks like a pair of Liberace's sparkly underwear on the lower edge... in the best possible way. :)

And here's the last of the 5 that arrived recently!

As I mentioned previously, I didn't plan on ordering these. I had to order them in order to make the L-1000 run happen. Now I owe G&L an unexpected and large pile of money, so I'm highly motivated to sell these (or any other G&L basses or G&L guitars) before this bill comes due (towards the end of April). Extra nice discounts will be happening until I can get this bill paid, so come and get 'em! :)

that is one fine looking bass with that color and pg combo, is the ruby read that dark and and rich or is it more reddish in real life?

That front shot is a fairly subdued picture of the finish. These metallic finishes really vary a lot depending on the lighting situation. In low light, it will look almost black. In bright light, it's a sparkly red. You can see all of that happening in this picture of the back of the bass. The body contour at the top is not lit very well, so it's a deep, dark red heading in the direction of black. The edge of that contour and the upper horn are getting a lot of light, so that's about as bright a red as you'll get out of it.
