G&L LB-100 Extravaganza!!!

Do you know anyone with any of the Detroit muscle series LB-100's specifically the RT series. I'm looking for a Sublime Green and a Panther Pink to go with the other 2 colors I have.

I checked their latest available list, but that stuff is all long gone.

Maybe someone looking to sell a used one will chime in. Good luck!

G&L just shared a pic of a different LB-100 that arrived here last week. I still need to get my own photos of these basses posted, but I'm letting G&L's pics do the talking in the meantime...

LB-100: $1928 MSRP
Ruby Red Metallic / Alder
RW Board
Tortoiseshell Pickguard: $72 MSRP
Weight = 8.9 lbs
TOTAL MSRP = $2000
INTERNET = $1399.99
ROCKET = PM me for a quote!

Which neck does this one have?

Which neck does this one have?

Unless they say otherwise, they should be the #12 (1 5/8" nut) with a 9.5" radius.

They hardly ever seem to put a different neck on the basses that show up on the available list. I am going to suggest to the new head of sales that he would do well to throw in some #8 necks every now and then on some LB-100's...

rrrrrrr....best sounding P bass out there I think. That was a great demo. Damn it...

They are indeed awesome. I own two of them personally, and the Alder/RW one is the best sounding P that I own. And it's 100% stock, which is a miracle in itself (mad tinkerer that I am).

I'm still debating. I'd like a passive 4 - possibly with flats - but can't decide between P and J. Historically I'm a J guy. Playing my jazz 6 all the time over my soap bar 5 these days. Was always a J guy so I'm kind of "going home" these days. Still, I listen to Pino and think a good P may be a good thing to have.

Probably the only P bass I've heard that I actually like the sound of....
Agreed

I'm unpacking and instpecting these 5 LB-100's that arrived recently, and I've encountered the first pleasant surprise. The Graphite Metallic one has the thinner #8 neck profile (1.5" nut)!

Here are the revised specs and pricing, and I've also edited the previous post in this thread to reflect this more current info.
